I was in a workshop recently talking with the Manager whilst looking at the stands they had in use and the area used for their storage. It was quite a busy area, there was a number of items other than stands stored in the area while they were not being used. Tooling like saw/work horse(s) and cable extenders (used for preventing cables from contacting the ground).
I wondered if we might be able to offer a solution? We utilised the hollow section of the Composite Stand to mount a clamping assembly, this enabled us to then develop and mount a range of various attachments for the stand to improve the potential utilisation of the stand, and other tooling items being use in a workshop environment. Below is an exploded view of the stand, the clamp a mounting pole and a roller.
Composite Stands produce a robust yet extremely light weight jacking stand to safely support vehicles, machinery, vessels and equipment typically used for maintenance and/or storage purposes. Our goal is to design stands that address long-term human safety and ergonomic risks associated with stands, and in particular, higher capacity devices.
