Since acquiring the 2.2m composite stand, it has greatly improved both safety and efficiency within our workshop. The main use for these stands is for raising the loader frames on large Wheel Loaders to assist with accessing the main control valve and for the removal/install of tilt cylinders. The stand is also being used to support implements on many other machines while under repair.
For the size of this stand, it is easily manoeuvred by one person. The communication with Composite Stands and timeliness in delivery of this stand was excellent. We are currently organising for our entire Used Equipment and Rental workshop to be supplied with new composite stands to replace our older equipment.
The Tradecore Field Service Crew love the 25-tonne capacity Composite Stands. So much more efficient compared to large steel stands, as was the case here. Within minutes the boys had all 4 stands under and unit setup. No need for a forklift and all the delays in getting one of those down to the job!!
Stands are being used onsite when changing the GET on our 631G Scrapers and the guys love them.
Hama Hydraulics have introduced the new Composite loader frame safety stand. Its rated capacity is 12.5 tonnes, weighs around 50kg. onsite at one of our valued customers Westrac, Perth WA. As Hama Hydraulics services many different sites this stand is great for transporting between sites and peace of mind for keeping our technicians safer. #hamahydraulics #compositestands
Ditchfield Contracting identified that there was a risk for their Float drivers entering under the suspended load of Dozer & Compactor blades during the installation and removal of tie-down chains.
To address this issue they now support the blades during loading and unloading which removes the hazard when accessing the underside of the machine.
Rather than using heavy hardwood timber blocks which created a manual handling hazard, Composite Stands were adopted as they are significantly lighter, more versatile and a user friendly alternative.
The You Hire workshop team are loving the stands and they were put to use straight away for work on one of our Franna Cranes.
“Reaching out today to express our happiness with your product here in Mackay. Very impressed with the Composite Stands we purchased for our Equipment Assembly Pad. They have made a huge impact reducing the risk with transport and manual handling of machinery stands in the area.” Graham
“Really great feedback from the guys on the floor in regards to the greatly reduced manually handling effort required when setting up for the truck to sit on compared to other stands that we have onsite.” Paul
“They are the real deal. We always receive positive comments every time we arrive onsite for the first time.”
We now use 35t composite stands to support the back end of Cat 773E rigid haul trucks while we are resealing the rear suspension cylinders.
The light weight composite stands and trolley make it really easy to manoeuvre the stands into place with minimum effort. They eliminate the manual handling risk of heavy steel stands with bulky trolleys.
Having the correct stands for the job, gives us extra peace of mind that the back end of the truck is more than sufficiently supported. Allowing the suspension cylinders to be discharged safely, removed, resealed and fitted again.
