A High Friction Timber Replacement

Hastings Deering Leading The Way!

A High Friction Timber Replacement

A high friction timber replacement was required at a Hastings Deering Workshop in Brisbane. Featured in the photo below are our red anti-slip caps. The caps sit atop the engagement head on our jack stands. This is to increase friction between the stand and the chassis when supporting a load. Avoiding direct steel and steel contact, known to enable slippage. The trial with the rated caps was successful and they now form part of their standard tooling.

In addition to the caps, you will also see that the mechanic is using a placement hook. Therefore he can safely position the jack stands with the caps, in and out from underneath the Cat skid steer loader.
